The Jamboree in Virginia

The world changed a little over two years ago. We’ve been besieged by COVID, and the inept, insane reaction to it demonstrated by state functionaries across the planet. The result has been a world stuck in neutral, engines revving with nowhere to go. It’s soul killing stagnation on the individual and societal level with no real impact on the pandemic.

With that in mind, Virginia, a newly converted red state, presents itself as the ideal solution for the men of XY Crew. This is especially true in southwest Virginia, where “mandates” are not in the local vocabulary. That, among other reasons, is why we chose Roanoke for the first annual XY CREW Jamboree. It’s 6 days and 5 nights of real-world celebration and brotherhood, not to be deterred or affected by a world gone mad.
